Home Care Providers & Administration
Leander House is dedicated to supporting the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. We work to ensure safe and healthy home environments. We provide administrative support to Individuals and Home Care Providers. We develop and maintain administrative relationships with fiscal and regulatory entities as well as other professionals whose mission it is to serve adults with developmental disabilities.

Jennie Reins

Founder, Director & Home Care Provider
Jennie co-founded and is director of Leander House. In her 20s, Jennie lived and worked with Individuals with disabilities while volunteering in a Camphill community in Pennsylvania. She later moved to Great Barrington and became involved in the lifesharing community. She and her daughters shared their home with adults with disabilities and volunteers from 1996 to 2021. Currently, Jennie divides her time between her role as Director and being a Home Care Provider for the Shared Living home.

Camille Stanton

Marketing Coordinator & Home Care Provider
Having grown up sharing her home with Individuals with disabilities, Camille is no stranger to Leander House. After graduating from Smith College in 2023, she joined Leander House as the lead in new marketing and development efforts and to create a social media presence for Leander House. She is also a Home Care Provider in the Individual Home Supports house.

Gail Smallridge

Agency Administrator & Case Manager
Gail joined the Great Barrington lifesharing community in 1999 as an agency administrator. She has expertly streamlined the Leander House infrastructure, expanded opportunities for Individuals with developmental disabilities, and advanced important relationships within the Department of Developmental Services. She also provides case management for all Individuals served by Leander House.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the governing body of Leander House and oversees the mission, vision, and goals ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards, as well as being accountable for financial stability and sustainability. The Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction of Leander House and safeguarding the necessary resources to achieve its goals. The Board approves the Leander House bylaws and budget ensuring that it operates within its means. The Board is also responsible for hiring and overseeing the organization’s executive director.
